I'm doing my primary clinicals at John Peter Smith, my hearts at Plaza Medical, OB at Parkland, & pedi at Cook's.

I'll be passing gas with ya at Baton Rouge General Cfarley... Bring on the anesthesia care plans lol....

Loma Linda here I come! Watch out preggies at Balboa in San Diego!

Hey guys, I'm confused, maybe one of you can help me out. I called TCU and they told me that you don't travel for clinicals, that they are all in Texas. What you guys are saying seems contradicting. Could you enlighten me on how their clinicals work? Thanks!

TCU has primary clinical sites in other states just like TWU. If your primary site is in Texas then you won't travel out of state for your secondary sites. Maybe that's what they meant when they told you that. For instance, my primary site is in Fort Worth & my secondary sites are in Ft. Worth & Dallas. Does that help?:typing

Primary site Plaza, JPS OB, Cooks for kids. That's how I roll.

I'm starting to get really excited! I think you guys are just so awesome & can't wait to be classmates!!!!

Just heard about this site...will be starting TCU with the rest of you guys in the fall. Just wanted to say hey...will be working at it in Lufkin -- anybody else? Also will be living on campus -- husband is going to hold down the fort back home. Congrats to everyone. :)

I'll be in Lufkin for my clinicals.

Just a question for those of you who have been admitted...I am looking at applying to TCU for the class beginning in 2010. I live in DFW and have a family, so I do not want to travel for my clinicals. How much of a say do you have in choosing your clinical site?

Well, you get to rank the clinicals sites you are willing to go to from most desired to least. But....DFW sites are highly competitive and it's all according to how you rank. In other words, the top candidates get the top clinical sites first and so forth.....

I'll be in Lafayette, LA for clinicals.... anyone else?
