Well, hmmm, lets see.....depends on the state you are in because different states have different rules. But there are also different taxes so I'm not sure which you are wanting to know about. There are Federal taxes, state taxes, county taxes, city taxes, sales taxes, death taxes, etc, etc. My advice would be to narrow your interest to one state if wanting to calculate finances. It would make it much easier for you. Hope this helps.

Depends first on the state where you will be working. All pay federal taxes, most states have state taxes, but not all, such as Nevada, Florida, Texas.

Some also have city and county taxes.......and that is specific as to where you are.

California has very high state taxes, but also one of the highest salaries.

let's just say in california.

How much is the ave. salary? How many Taxes?

How much can you pocket each day?

Do all 49 states have the ave. income to all fresh RN'S? Starting Salary?

There are drastic differences in pay rates between the states. Some California RNs are earning over $50 hourly in the San Francisco Bay area, whereas some rural Mississippi RNs are only being paid $16 hourly.
