I would really love to get a moon phase tattoo on the inside of my right arm. I am a pre nursing student and plan on covering the tattoo during interviews, but I am curious as to how big of a deal tattoos can be in the nursing field? I would ultimately like to be a NP one day. Thank you!

Lots of hospitals around here happen to have a religious affiliation and will have an anti-tattoo policy, and my classmates with tattoos have to wear some sort of covering during clinicals. The hospital I work at right now doesn't restrict tattoos, but it's the only one around here. If you get a tattoo, just make sure you have a way to cover it if need be.
