I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.

Well, I just paid for my background check ($50) for Weatherford College. It goes straight to the BON. Do you think I will have to pay again if I get into TCC?

Good luck!! Just breathe and take your time. It will give you the grade after each section! Do good on the first one and it will make the next one less stressful!

Well I took my HESI today.

96%

Math-100

Reading 98

Grammar 96

Vocab 90 (I thought this would be my highest score)

I am so bummed that I got a 90 on vocab! Really?? I was hoping to get a 98 or 99 on this test because my gpa is so low. If I would have gotten at least a 94 on vocab it would atleast have given me a 97.5! Oh well....

I too got a 90% on vocab - it just seemed the most difficult. Do you mind my asking what your GPA is?? Mine is a 3.5 in my sciences and that worries me that it's too low. I'm so anxious to get this waiting over with and it's only been a week!! LOL

95.5% overall -

Grammar - 100

Math - 98

Reading Comp - 94

Vocab - 90

On my reading comp I got a 66.67% on comprehension itself, so I sure hope they don't look at that!!! LOL

Manow, that is GREAT NEWS!!!! Wonderful score. I knew you would do well.

Even better news is that while Manow was in there kicking butt and taking names the class average actually went down. (yes, I am obsessive and checked) It is now at 85%

Here is the breakdown for those who can't see it yet.

Class Average 85%

Math 86%

Reading 87%

Grammar 87%

Vocab 80%

Seems like the vocab is getting everyone.

So dont stress ladies - this puts us WELL above average!

So far us AN people are doing really well and I expect those who haven't taken the test yet to do awesome!!

The cream of the crops finds allnurses!!!

Hello Everyone...

Well, I took my HESI this morning and didn't do as well as I would have liked.. ended with a 92 average :eek: I'm a bit bummed.. I can only hope that I can hang with the top candidates.. I guess I'll see when the letters go out!!! UUHHGG

Thank you CROSS for all your support and keeping me upbeat about this process... at least it's behind me now and I can BREATHE again...lol

Everyone seems to be doing great overall and I wish everyone the best of luck :yeah:

Manow, was your class full? My mine and Cross's were short at least 5 people (less people applying, lol)
