I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.
Hello All,
I am going to apply for TCCD Nursing Program this period. I have a 3.75 GPA for science and and 3.9 GPA overall. I will take the HESI A2 test next week. I already finished all my pre require classes. I am so nervous right now because I saw a lot of students with 4.0 GPA in science and great HESI score.
I have been study like crazy for the last couple months and I still not sure about my vocabulary and grammar skills.
Can someone give me some advice on these areas? How is the vocabulary and Grammar section on the TEST?
Thank You Very Much,
Hi LN, welcome!!

Great GPA. The grammar is pretty basic. Most of it is just how we speak so if English is your primary language then no problems there. The vocab isn't really something you can study for except knowing the words in the study guide. It's not too bad though. Most of the other stuff is pretty simple. It did have some general AP words.
It is very much like the practice test in the book. They each have there own section. 55 questions each (but I think only 50 are graded because all my scores were even)
Can you remind me how to get there? I want to see now. LOL
*Edit: I figured it out! LOL
I think, if I take MY guess, is that the "class average" is for everyone taking the HESI with that unique code we used. So anyone taking it for Spring admission maybe? If so, and the average is 86, I feel much more confident!! That's just my guess though.

No pie charts. Just mainly liquid conversions. I don't actually remember any other ones . . . @Student do you? The math was (to me) the easiest section.
