Tarrant County College Spring 2014

I haven't found a thread for Spring 2014 TCC nursing applicants, so I thought I would start one! I still have 2 more classes to complete before I can officially apply. I have an A in A&P I, and hope to have an A in A&PII this semester. I scored 92.5 on my HESI, but I might re-take it.

Who else is applying and what does everyone else have?? :)

I reported it, there's an option on the drop down arrow on the right. Maybe they are meeting about us!?!?

I clicked on that.. and all it did was take me to the top of the page?! oh well... I hope they are meeting about us.. so we can get our stuff!! I keep refreshing this page and my email..

Following obxluvr's lead, here's another little funny to help us thru these next hours. :-)

A nurse caring for a man from Kentucky asked, "So how's your breakfast this morning?"

"It's very good, except for the Kentucky Jelly. I can't seem to get used to the taste," the patient replied.

The nurse asked to see the jelly and the man produced a foil packet labeled "KY Jelly."

Here another...

Hospital regulations require a wheelchair for patients being discharged. However, a student nurse found one elderly man already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need any help leaving the hospital.

After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let the student nurse wheel him to the elevator. On the way down, the student asked if his wife was picking him up.

"I don't know," he replied. "She is still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown."

I hope I never do that obxluvr ! lol... I'm assuming the Nursing Dept is a 9-5 kinda place? So, if we don't hear anything by 5, then we should assume we wont hear until next week? I'm just trying to figure out what time I should stop looking for an email lol

Yeah I would assume after 5pm if nothing comes out then we won't hear anything today.

I saw Spring 2012 class was notified on October 28. There is really no telling when they will notify. :( I was really looking forward to hearing something today.

I know.. me too... I'm trying to accept the fact that we wont know today..:no: why are they doing this to us?!?!:cry:
