Tarrant County College Spring 2014

I haven't found a thread for Spring 2014 TCC nursing applicants, so I thought I would start one! I still have 2 more classes to complete before I can officially apply. I have an A in A&P I, and hope to have an A in A&PII this semester. I scored 92.5 on my HESI, but I might re-take it.

Who else is applying and what does everyone else have?? :)

Does anyone know the lowest GPA and HESI scores that were accepted previously? My friend has a 3.75 but high 80's on her HESI so she is super nervous she won't make it :(

I have a friend in the program right now, she was an alternate with a 3.75 and an 86 HESI... but she was eventually accepted.. I've seen some 3.5 and 90 that were alternates got in... so sounds like she will be good!

I hope so! She has only spoken English for 12 years so I know grammar and vocab sections were rough. She is a great person and would be an awesome nurse!

Last year letters didn't go out until late afternoon..I think 3:40pm of I remember reading correctly. So I'm sure if anything then send them at the last minute.

Wait... are you talking about spring 2013 or 2012? I thought I saw some spring 2013 posts that they got there letters Nov 1 around 9am...

I wonder if the Nursing Dept looks at these posts and laugh at us... and keep holding out just to watch us sweat!

I'm not sure but I saw a post for spring 2012 applicants and in her post she put she received the email at 324. All i know if they make us wait the weekend.... They probably are laughing at us and taking bets on who is going to call them asking when emails will go out! To occupy my mind I have resorted to playing The Sims and Minecraft. #ubernerd

Yeah, I'm gonna go crazy if I have to wait the weekend!! This will be the ONLY time I'll want the weekend to go by fast!! lol I'm trying to keep busy at work, but geesh... Guess I'll find something to do.. I thought about calling them.. but I was reading over the fall 2013 somebody called the Nursing Dept on May 2 around 10am and was told that emails wouldn't go out until the following week.. but they still got their emails on May 2 around 340pm.. so HOPEFULLY thats what happens this time!! I am so obsessed lol They were supposed to find out on May 1.
