Yeah, I talked to a lady at TCC South about this program and she told me a couple of things....1st it starts Summer 1 and there you take a bunch of tests to see if in fact you can move forward..(if you do not pass you must start the fall with the regular students at the beginning) then Summer 2 is Mental Health. Then Fall you transititon into regular class with the other students. A&P1 and 2 must be within 5 years...and you do apply between Jan - Feb. I think it sounds like a good program.
Thanks for the info.Tarrant County College has their LVN to RN fast track program up and running... It is about time, it has now been 3 years without a transition program in Ft Worth and it is almost impossible as it is to get in a program . I had heard about this a year or so ago and I knew it was a fast track for paramedics but I dont know about EMT's. HUMMMMMM. Well thank the good Lord. They take applications in Jan - Feb for information look up Tarrant County College and click on dept then nursing. WOOOOHOOOOOO this is good news for us......
