Welcome! I thought it was time to start a new thread for TCC fall 2013 applicants and future hopefuls. I've followed the past 2 threads for TCC and there are at least a handful of us finishing up pre-requisites this summer and fall.
Feel free to join the conversation and pass the word to others.
I was not brave enough to take AP2 and Chem so I give you a high five. I planned to take AP2 this summer and then Chem this fall but was offered a job @ Texas Health and decided to take it! Way too great of an opportunity to to miss out on. As a result I am taking AP2 in the fall now and Chem in the Spring. Figured a job that could almost guarantee and job upon graduation. Was worth a semester lost. I have M for lecture and P for lab.

If you're at the NW campus, I had M as well and loved her. I made an A with her for both AP 1 and 2!
thanks KTM...M scares the mess out of me! any tips?? I took AP1 online and while it WAS HORRID HARD...I pulled an A. I know I have it in me but M really scares meNot sure why but she does.
Don't be worried! There are at least 3 people you know that are in both lecture & lab with you...me included. I spent a lot of time in the mornings with our lecture professor while studying in the science center during spring semester. She was very approachable and answered lots of questions.
KTM- We have Me for AP lecture and I have B for Chem lecture.
I'm applying for the Fall 2013 program.
I was originally applying for this Spring, but I was unaware of the new Math requirements.
I had not taken a College Level math class, and by the time I found out it was necessary, it was too late to sign up for any classes to meet the deadline. I guess it was meant to be! Lol. I've got to think positively about the situation because I'm still disappointed.
I am scheduled to take the Hesi on the 17th of this month (I signed up to take it before I was aware of the situation) I will let you guys know how it goes :)
I'm planning to apply for the Spring 2014 semester, but this thread seems to be very helpful. I'm just a semester behind all of you. I am currently taking Chem and the rest of my pre-reqs at the SE campus. Next semester I am going to go to the Trinity River campus and will take PHED, a theatre appreciation class, and then A&P1. During the summer I plan to take A&P2 and Micro so I will be able to apply in the Fall of 2013 for the Spring of 2014.
This is my first year out of high school and this is the plan my advisor helped me figure out. Does it sound alright? I'm extremely worried, because I already had two advisors screw up my whole entire schedule and what they did would have put me a whole year behind. I'm also worried trying to get an entry level position in a hospital, but it seems that they won't hire anyone without experience...how am I supposed to get experience if nobody will hire me? As of now I'm a waitress at The Cheesecake Factory :)

I am taking AP2 & Chemistry at NW campus this fall. I have class M-Th and will likely be spending my mornings in the Science Center before class this semester again.
