Welcome! I thought it was time to start a new thread for TCC fall 2013 applicants and future hopefuls. I've followed the past 2 threads for TCC and there are at least a handful of us finishing up pre-requisites this summer and fall.

Feel free to join the conversation and pass the word to others.

Anyone know if alternates are called randomly or by rank based on GPA and hesi scores? Some one said it was random n now I'm getting worried... And that decreases my chance for a call back. I got a 3.5 and a 90 on hesi and someone with a 3.5 and 92 were selected, so I'm thinking I'm pretty high on alt list. But if they do it randomly thn idk.. Do anyone know??

After you complete it and sign it electronically, you send it as an attachment to the address provided in the email.

The deadline to accept or decline is May 16th, I believe.

Lol I saw it, but I can't help you. I'm not sure how all of that works. But according to previous comments/posts, all of the alternates from last semester were accepted. That's all I know... Sorry:(

Hello Future Nursing Students!!!

Hi, my name is Verna and I will be the TNSA Peer Assist for next semester.

I would like to start off by congratulating everyone who got in, also for those of you that are alternatives...hang in there. There is still hope.

I am in the TCC Nursing Program and I am finishing up my Pedi/OB Semester. I was on this forum when I applied to TCC for Spring 2012. I just wanted to stop by and give a few tips and to let you guys know that myself and many other current students are here for you if you have any questions. I good source to go to for immediate answers is the facebook pages. TNSA at TCC or Nursing Students Group.

So here are a few quick tips in no particular order.

AND again...if you have any questions or just want to chat...STOP BY THE TNSA OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!

It's on the 5th floor of the nursing building (street level). You can't miss it. They have a cart outside selling shirts and other stuff.
