Welcome! I thought it was time to start a new thread for TCC fall 2013 applicants and future hopefuls. I've followed the past 2 threads for TCC and there are at least a handful of us finishing up pre-requisites this summer and fall.

Katherine...I just called the nursing dept. and the receptionist stated that the mental health course will be offered for 2014 summer semester...This does not apply to any of the students entering the fall 2013. Therefore, do not plan for 2014 summer vacation.

Mental Health will more than likely be Summer I for those that were accepted. They allow you to switch to Summer II if you have plans.

I am finishing up my first semester so if you have any questions just let me know.

Oh, ok Thanks for the info. I have a question about the health insurance that we're required to have. Or is it medical liability? I have no clue... I'm currently uninsured. Is TCC providing this?

Hey ! Is anyone in the nursing program that knows how big the nursing classes are at the trinity river campus? Also what is the age range of the students in the program. I go to the south campus and everyone is so much older than me it's hard to meet people. So in your experience how old area most of the students? Also what is the best way to study for the HESI to get the best grade possible?
