So I think we are well into the application period so, surely it is time to start up this board. I can not wait until we hear back in May. Trying to keep very busy while waiting. Good luck to everyone applying!! Hopefully we can keep each other company here and celebrate our successes!!

Is the grey at the bottom okay? I guess that's what I am confused about. Do they have to be absolutely, completely white? Or can they have a hint of grey on them?

I'm reading though everything and realizing my kids are out of school for the summer in 2 weeks. I'm going to have to hit it to get a lot of this done!! Glad they didn't wait until June to send out notifications.

These were the ones I bought. I'm probably not the best person to ask since I'm not in the program but I'm confident enough that they fit the bill or I wouldn't have bought them. When they're on, you definitely see 'white' shoes, as opposed to gray and white.

Speaking of colors, are any of you on the fence regarding your scrubs? There seems to be a lot of different color teal out there. How picky are they when it comes to that? I've really liked Koi and NRG Barco and both are quite different from each other and don't have the word "teal" in their name. They look teal though :) The Koi ones are actually are a little darker. What are you all finding?

Caitlyn, have you finished your immunizations? Other than the physical and background check, I think we just have to wait til orientation before we can do anything else. Oh wait...and shopping. I've been scouting for sometime so that part was easy. I just have to time it out so I don't go broke with one click (which I came close to doing today!).

I have finished my immunizations.

It states that the CPR cert. is due on the third, but then later in the checklist doc states that they will be offering a class sign-up on the third. I need to renew mine. I'm going to call about that tomorrow and see if it is due by that date or not.

Just need to get into my Physician and have him fill out the form. I just had a physical so, I wish I had known that I would need that.

Also, I would like to get my books squared away so I can start reading while the kids are at the pool this summer.

I'm excited about the shopping!! It will just be easier if I can get all of that done before th kids are out.

I can imagine! I don't have any little ones but trying to get things done before the next wave of summer school classes start has me hustling as well. I think the books are probably the most confusing...just trying to figure out what format and where I can find the best price. I hope they resend the acceptance form out on Monday so we can get those puppies in and make it official. And hopeful the rest of those emails will get out for everybody still waiting!

hello everyone!!! GRATS TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN!! SOOOO EXCITING!! I can't WAIT til its my time :D I begin school in the fall to start pre reqs. i have been following all the posts. been wanting to be a nurse since i was a kid! i plan on buying a complete scrubs outfit and hang it above my comp to keep me focused! if anyone is interested in some 'cute scrubs' i think i have found some if you wanna look =)

Yes, the books are what I'm most concerned about. I really can't stand buying books I don't use. Also, I'm a bargain shopper when it comes to books. I typically find them in alternative wys to save $$, but that makes it harder because you have to be careful nd get what you need. Excited to start choking things off that list! Mostly, would LOVE to return my acceptance form :0). I feel behind already since that was not working correctly. I'm a planner though and I just need to chill. There's gonna be plenty to worry about later!!

When filling out the acceptance form I am not able to click "i accept" and "i am not interested in the hybrid section" at the same time. It only allows me to pick one of the 4 options. Is anyone else having this problem?

Elizabeth I am having the same problem and I was freaking out!! Lol but I figured since it was the weekend there wasn't anything I could do about it anyway. Glad to know it wasn't just mine! I guess we just need to call them tomorrow morning and see what they say.

So, I plan on calling in tomorrow to try and find out why I never got an email at all. Can someone please tell me the best number to call? I havent ever had to call them before.

Elizabeth, I think almost everyone is. To my knowledge only a few have been able to get around it. We will hopefully get another form in the morning. I know they're going to be inundated by calls!
