So I think we are well into the application period so, surely it is time to start up this board. I can not wait until we hear back in May. Trying to keep very busy while waiting. Good luck to everyone applying!! Hopefully we can keep each other company here and celebrate our successes!!
From what I understood, on the acceptance form it tells you to submit it as an attachment in an email. SO, I put student ID, checked "I accept", e-signature, and date, then in the email above the attachment I stated that I was not interested in the hybrid theory class but was unable to make that selection w/o deleting the "I accept" selection. Hope it's sufficient
I was a little worried about doing that because it stated to verify it was complete before submitting. I don't know, I just didn't want them to end up having problems on some kind of technicality.
I really wish it had just worked. I spent 2 hours Friday night with the PDF trying different things to find a fix and it owned me lol. It shoud have taken 5 seconds to complete and return.
Although, with your method, better for them to know that you accepted and they can worry about the hybrid details later since it was their error :0).
You can submit it more than once and they specify that they want it ASAP. I think u r right, they want the heads-up about how many are committed, but we have until the 25th to work out the kinks and I wanted to go ahead and get my answer in. I also got one in CC and I haven't tried it, but wonder if it has the same problem
If anyone talks to the nursing dept about what we're supposed to do about returning our acceptance notices please post. I was going to wait and call later this afternoon. I think I probably sent mine 4 x on Friday. The first three I checked 'accepted' and then in the decline box I typed what I wanted regarding the hybrid course. I felt uneasy that it was in the decline box thinking they would misunderstand and think I wasn't accepting. So then I printed it out, used a sharpie to bubble in the hybrid course section, scanned it into my computer and then emailed it to them. lol A lot of work for something that you shouldn't even have to think twice about! I hope they confirm with us what they have on record...needless to say I'm a little leery.
vc- Who knows, maybe it had to do with what emails people provided on their application. I put both and got contacted through both. Either way you look at it, there was some technical difficulty taking place Friday afternoon! I hope all of that gets worked out today. Be sure and let us know what you find out!!!
