I bet each of you will do great on the HESI!! Do take your time and read carefully. You have plenty of time to take the test. I remember being so nervous as well but it turned out just fine. The area I did the best in, which completely shocked me, was math. Vocabulary was my weakest which was also a shock. I really thought I would bomb the math and do well in all other areas. I can't wait for you to all get through it and have that relief!! Welcome to all the new posters!!Thanks student213 and Kate for replying about schedules!!

Hi everyone! I'm applying for Fall 2012 too, and I am taking my HESI this Friday the 17th!! The closer it gets the more nervous I get! I have also timed things with my kids starting school. My youngest started Kindergarten this year so I am open for classes during the day. I read some of the forum for Spring 2012 applicants and I am excited to see this one for us Fall applicants!

Hi all....I am from the spring 2012 just like student. Been reading all your post is remind me of our last application period. I know it is very nervous for your guys/gals right now, but it will be fine. Good luck you guys....do well on the Hesi and you are in 50 percent already. Th other will be your science GPA.

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the HESI test is like. I've been studying but I feel like I haven't covered everything that will be on the test. I would appreciate it so much if someone would give me some insight as to how the test was and what things should I be more focused on. I'm scheduled to take my test on the 17th.

I am scheduled to take the HESI on the 17th as well. The receipt that I got from the testing center says the the topics covered on our test will be grammar, vocab, math, reading comprehension, personality, and learning style.

Took my HESI today with an overall score of 92.5. I was surprised that vocab was my lowest score and was the section that brought my overall average down

That's great Christin!! My vocabulary was my lowest score too which shocked me. My math was the highest. I've heard that the vocabulary gets a lot of people. Yay, you're done with the HESI and that's a great score!

Math was my highest too. I knew every vocab from the study guide but only saw about 3 or 4 of those words on the test. It took my average down 3 points! Did they tell you that we would be notified 3-4 weeks after the deadline? I thought we had to wait until May!
