definition as interpreted by tcc students awaiting acceptance letters:
(note: time of use is the critical component when defining such a term...)
10am interpretation...yay may is here! after a long wait, we finally get our emails today!
5pm interpretation with, alas, no email...houston we have a big problem!!!!!!!
hoping and praying today is the day!!! good luck everyone!!!! :)
Okay, just an idea, but I decided to become a nurse after my second child came early. He was born at 29 weeks. We lived in the NICU for five weeks, it was during this time that I decided I wanted to be a nurse. I thought maybe we could share why we want to be a nurse, and what area you might want to go into. Maybe it will pass the time, or maybe I am just becoming crazy emotional and sappy..
I called.
And I am not even kidding that she said "May 1st is just a tentative day, it will most likely be the end of next week."
Sorry to share bad news. I wish I hadn't called now. This is getting ridiculous. I really hope she is wrong. Anyone else want to give them a call and see if they are told the same?
Well I have a couple reasons, my grandparents both lived with my family up until my grandma passed and the nurses were really heaven sent, she had a stroke and was bed ridden for 15 years if you can even imagine. so they helped my family so much, and my son was also a premie we spent a week in the NICU and I was a preemie as well 2 months early so I have a lot to thank nurses for! After my son was born the nurse who helped me was the most kind women ever she really confirmed it for me.I wanted to be a nurse!

I am cracking up b/c all of our little icons by our name that show "online" are green.. At least we are in good company. I am guessing they will wait til later in the day to avoid phone calls but who knows..?
So much for pulling myself away from the computer.
I want to call so badly but am scared they will give me bad news and say "oh it'll be the end of May"...or something.
