Tarrant County College Fall 2014 Nursing Program

Published

This topic was created for those who will be applying to Tarrant County College's Fall 2014 Nursing Program. The dialog is open for those who have never applied and those who have applied multiple times. Let's discuss our frustrations, stats, best practices for study and the HESI, where you are at achieving your goal, and if you plan to apply anywhere else.

I have applied and was turned down 3.50 Science, 90 HESI, 970 Critical thinking (for another nursing program). I was knocked down, but I refuse to stay there.

Let's talk!

Also taking classes at NW ?

Female. To answer other posts. Work has been crazy so I have not had an opportunity to post. Trying to stay stress free since we have to wait.

Praying for all of us! Waiting is so stressful...

I am male. My goal after graduation is to work in the ER and eventually become a flight nurse.

Hey, thought it would be interesting to see what other schools everyone else is applying to and what other programs some of us are applying to for backups or plan b.

I applied to Weatherford College for radiology and respiratory care also. Radiology is my first choice, the others are my back ups.

Was thinking doing dental hygienist but that not gonna be stable for long so I'm doing nursing instead.. I only apply to tcc, nowhere else.

Just TCC but back up is TCU for their Accelerated BSN

I applied to UTA, El Centro, Northlake, and TCU . Backup is taking phlebotomy in order top get my foot in the hospital setting. I might pursue infant echo cardiology but that is only if I reached my limit in applying for nursing.

Just TCC so far but contemplating on el Centro Their panther campus not the main campus but i really want TCC !

Man, you applied to a lot. I was gonna do phlebotomy as a backup, but decided to retake A&P 1 and 2 and take statistics instead. Also I didn't ever do it cause I heard it's hard to get a job as a new phlebotomist.
