Hi there! This topic is for students applying for TCCD Fall 2016 ADN program. I'm excited about getting the ball rolling!

Also, I know that especially in nursing school, since we are gonna be spending a lot of time together studying, during clinicals and stuff, it's really important to find a good group of people to talk to and support each other since we know exactly what each other is going through. Once we hear from the school in a couple weeks, I would even be open to meeting up with some of you! Or even before honestly. What do yall think?

@klee0127 my GPA for sciences is 3.33 - 2 B's and 1A.

I forget about social media as well. This is more or less my only outlet. I deleted Facebook a long long time ago because I felt guilty for wasting time.

I would love to meet up once we all find out. I think this will be a good group. From the little that we know about each other it sounds like there are some similar situations- working students, moms etc...

It really does help to have support from people who know what you're going through. I wouldn't mind meeting y'all after we find out.....the wait....oh gosh....hopefully only 9 or 10 more days....

I would love to meet everyone once we find out!!! I think a Facebook group is a good idea cause I saw last time that people posted on there if they wanted to change school schedules. If the number of applications is low hopefully they won't make us wait till April 21 to find out. I'm getting very anxious!!!

I didn't think about Pinterest for nursing school!! I'm going to look into that today and hopefully that will make the days so by faster.

I have a friend in the program and is about to graduate. She told me to start practicing dosage calculations now. If you fail that twice then your out of the program and failing is below a 90.

One of my friends started her Versant program in Feb. She graduated from TCC and passed along some of her old textbooks so I'm excited that I have a foundations book to flip through. I plan on studying dosing calculations, medical term and reviewing my notes from pharmacology. Hopefully we can get some advice on what to study. I don't want to waist the summer away lol. My husband teases me because I studied so hard for the HESI and now I'm anxious to start prepping for the first semester.
