2010 TAMUCC Nursing students!!

I was wondering who the other people were who got into the program for the spring? I will be new to the Corpus area and I know i'm going to need study buddies! Are their any students in nursing school there now because I have a million question LOL

Thanks I am thinking since it is self paced I will start it in April just so I can get it paid for!

When you applied it told you to expect an email in 7 days or so to confirm the application, right? I applied over 7 days ago and have heard nothing! I am already in panic mode! Let me know if you have heard or when you do!

Maybe they sent it to my islander email, prob should check there! :)

I did get the same notice about the 7 days for a confirmation on the BSN application. If I don't get an email in 7 days I will be down at TAMU checking on things. Heck, with the way I am, I will probably be there next week making sure I have everything on track any way.

When I went to an RN advisor's office last week I saw the # of applications in her in bin.... and she said there were a LOT of applications this time around (for Fall '10).

Any way, funny thing is, when I filled out the BSN application I don't remember it asking for an email address. So I would assume it must go to a TAMU address! We shall see.

I did not get my email until after the deadline had passed.

A lot of applications? geez. I wish I could see some stats. ugh! Do either of you know how many people they accept into their program per semester?

I have no clue Darla! I am not psyched at hearing there are lots of apps! I can not find stats for anything :( Maybe Sara can go pry some answers out of them ;)

Anyone hear anything? I have reactivated my status at grad school, so looks like I will just finish my masters :) Graduate in December so I guess I wasn't meant to be a nurse... a year of pre req':confused:s down the drain :(

I received an email that just said they will notify all applicants in April.

Summer students have already been notified. Fall will be in April.

That is not a no! You dont know how far down the list you are. Apply until they say YES!

Hello! I have been accepted to the TAMUCC Nursing program. As far as the GPA requirements I have a 3.89 and a BA in Psychology. I hope this helps. Wish you all luck on your journey to becoming awesome nurses!

Good luck you guys. The new nursing building is almost done being built, and there will be ribbon cutting ceremony in June!
