The major thing that bugs me is that we have to make arrangements for payment to their pre-req summer courses before program starts and if we dont get accepted we have to drop it. ?

Omg you’re right! When do we need to make arrangements by!

Yes I know. So I called and I was told “if not by this Friday then next Friday for sure” ?

When did you call, today? I've been calling the nursing office since yesterday and no one picks up :(

Yes I called today and talked to an advisor and one of the admin assistants and both said the same thing?

Ohh I see. When I called last month one of the assistants told me that it would be in the first week of April. I'm assuming they have no idea LOL.

May 10 is so close but so FAR AWAY! ? Hopefully it’s this Friday but I highly doubt it. I heard that Fall is super competitive and many people this semester met the 5/5 criteria. But of course I wouldn’t listen to what everyone says. Maybe they’re taking awhile to send the decision letters because everyone has high stats?

What is the 5/5 criteria may I ask?

The five ideal criteria are:

  • GPA (last 60 hours): 3.5 and above
  • Science GPA: 3.25 and above
  • HESI A2 Composite: 83 and above
  • HESI A2 Critical Thinking: 850 and above
  • HESI A2 Readings: 86 and above

When I spoke to an advisor it was mentioned that having 3 out of 5 ideal criteria gives a good chance of admission. But I'm sure "meeting the minimum requirement" doesn't always guarantee admission... the higher the stats the better. I hope we all get in!

Mostly likely to be accepted you have to meet or exceed these stats:

Overrall GPA (Last 60 hours): 3.5

Science GPA: 3.25

Hesi Composite score: 83

Hesi Reading: 86

Hesi Critical Thinking: 850

Really nervous because I met/exceed all except critical thinking :(

So 4/5 criteria is probably going to bump me down.

Stay positive! 4/5 of the criteria is still really good. I've known a number of people who met 3/5 criteria in the fall semester and still got in because of high HESI scores!! Are you applying for Eline or traditional face to face?
