Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and just getting used to things, but I have some important questions for fellow nursing school applicants.
I have applied to TAMUCC online BSN program. I am from the DFW area and am a little concerned about getting placed for clinical rotations. I spoke with a woman on the phone who said it is possible to not get placed in DFW for clinicals (meaning travel to another metroplex.) This might be okay if I knew how many days a week we had to attend rotations and how long they lasted. Is it two days a week for six weeks, 3 days for 4 weeks, etc.
If anyone has any info on clinicals that would be very helpful!
Also, has anyone else applied to this program? And if so what area are you from? Any idea on when we'll hear back about acceptance/interviews? Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing from y'all!

I received a phone call. I will be calling CONHS Monday morning to get information about our online interviews.
Does everyone either go through an interview or get automatically declined? Or do they also send out just full on acceptance letters without an interview? Did everyone get called on April 1st? Now I am freaking out because I haven't heard anything!! í ½í¸±í ½í¸± but on a positive side, good luck and congratulations to everyone with an interview!!!!
I wish I knew what the acceptance statistics were. I honestly don't think I got in but I am still hoping for the best. Maybe I will get a call on Monday!! I am sure we will all find out very soon!
I know! I wish I knew them as well. I know some schools give a student profile of their students who were accepted. I guess it doesn't really matter in the long run, but it at least gives you the info to know whether your scores were competitive or not.
You never know! You may have received an acceptance letter without having to interview Good luck!!
My GPA was a 3.6 but with some bad grades from UT factored in, it dropped to a 3.2 and my hesi was low 90's with a 900 as the other score. I also am still taking pre reqs this spring and summer and have some W's on my transcript so I am pretty sure that all of that is going to cause me to not get in!!!
