I'm starting this thread to try and connect with anyone who may be applying for TCC's Nursing program for Spring of 2013. I just applied yesterday, and I'm nervous!

Got in! What a relief! Can't wait to get started.

I'm in!! Woot woot! I'm so excited and nervous all at the same time! This week is going to be a great one, I got in today, halloween is wednesday(love), my bday is Thursday, and the orientation is Friday! Has anyone signed up for the CPR Class yet? I'm pumped to begin this journey! Lets all stay in touch.See ya Friday!

Congrats nanny2nurse! I already took my CPR class (last week). I'd recommend going through the AHA course as opposed to the Red Cross. $57 vs. $110 for the same certification, and I took it at the Southeastern School of Health Sciences.

Thanks! I actually called them today and found that out. Lol. I'm going to have to speak to my boss to see if I can leave a little early to take the course on the 19th.

Congrats nanny! I've already taken the CPR class as well. I just finished my shots and took my drug test yesterday. Going to get uniforms on Saturday. So excited!!! See everyone on Friday.

Hello I'm relocating to Tally soon. I need to do 2 foreign language class and repeat chemistry. I wanna do it at TCC any advice who to take.

The nervousness is starting to set in! I think the reality that I am now a nursing student is finally hitting lol :woot: still super excited though!

Can anyone tell me how long it took to get embroidery done on uniforms and how much it cost? I'm hoping to get mine next week and wasn't sure the cost or time frame.

I ordered my scrubs the day of orientation and I they were ready for pickup in about 2 weeks.
