Yes, that's really frustrating, especially since they want us to let them know immediately if we can't accept the spot, but for some people that may hinge on whether they're morning or afternoon.

I asked last week when we'd find out and the response was we'd find out shortly after the July 2nd deadline, before orientation. 

I had the same thoughts about morning/evening. I would hate to commit and not be able to participate but I'm not giving up my spot without knowing it's something I cannot do. Fingers crossed and prayers for patience for us all. ?

I'm putting all my hope in the fact that there will likely be people in the first 38 who prefer evening classes and everyone will get what they're hoping for regardless of how quickly they completed their requirements.

Not yet! I expect it’ll be sent sometime within the next couple days.

Hi I’m apart of the group that recently just got accepted. These seems to be a lot of info we didn’t get? I’m wondering the costs of everything as well as when orientation is. Is there another group chat?

Not sure if it works any different for the newly- accepted group, but we got an email from Dr. Tellis with on boarding instructions regarding the CastleBranch dashboard. Did you get anything like that?

Make sure to check for attachments on any emails you got. I had to load the email on a desktop as the attachments didn't show on my mobile device. Most of the pertinent details were contained within email attachments.

I got the email for castle branch I’ve completed everything besides my tb test which will be read Monday. Oddly enough I’ve always carried around my vaccination records so that’s all I had to do. I completely missed the whole separate  attachment that contained class times. I’m assuming non of us will receive am classes(waitlisted peeps). It looks like everyone in confused about costs and orientation looks like.

Once all our preliminary stuff was approved and we were formally accepted, there was a follow up email with orientation details. There still wasn't a whole lot of detailed, concrete information about costs, just mentions of uniforms, etc.

My guess is once the deadline for your group comes around, you'll get that email provided all your stuff is in order. Our email says orientation is July 28th from 10-noon. I imagine it's the same for everyone, but of course I can't be sure.

That makes sense, they probably won’t give out the rest of the info until everything is completed. How long did your background check and drug test take?

You likely will have the same two week deadline we did. The background check depends on how long it takes your place to answer back. Check on it regularly and if it you see any issues call CB as soon as possible. They for some reason had the wrong number for my job and it was pending due to that. Once I updated, it was completed quickly. Drug test took about 3 days for results. I would work on getting the BLS soon. I ended up doing it outside of TCC which costs slightly higher but I didn’t want to leave it to chance. You have to go in person to sign up and pay and they were filling up fast. 
 

As far as orientation, we need to get our badge payment at least the day before and we need to have it for orientation ($5). I am setting aside about $500 for uniforms,bags, stethoscope ? so hopefully that is enough. We really don’t know at this point. We also can’t register for class until after orientation anyways and we have not received the handbook. I tried calling last week but no answer from the department. I imagine they are getting an influx of calls asking for the same thing. Hope this helps and congratulations!! ???

Thanks a bunch for the info! I have my BLS already it’s a requirement at my job luckily. I only paid $5 for it which im happy for because it looks expensive. So far I’ve completed all of castle branch I’m just waiting on everything to stop pending. So you’re saying orientation day we need to have $5 cash? Our two weeks are up this Friday. That doesn’t leave us much time.
