Hey, I was wondering if there was anyone else applying for the Fall 2021 Nursing program and how hopeful you feel about getting in? I am so nervous ?
I got an email with my BLS card attached within a few hours of completing the course. I uploaded a digital copy to castle branch in the evening and my status changed to complete the next morning. I did mine at CPRtally, not the Ghazvini, so that might make a difference.
I had titers drawn last Friday and didn't have results as of yesterday afternoon. Went ahead on started the hep B series since that wasn't part of childhood vaccines when I was a kid. Castlebranch does say you can be mid-series and they'll put in a reminder to update as you booster your vax.
Oh, yay! I'm glad you got it worked out! :)
I'm a mom so I can only do the morning session.... ? It's really stressful. I'm really hoping I'm one of those 1st 30 people. ??I really, really don't want to miss out on this fall.
I did call and ask about the orientation and registration because I was hearing several different things. I was told around the week of the 8th we would be notified of who the 1st 30 were so they can choose their session, we would find out when orientation is (there is only 1 orientation for everyone, am & pm), and we would find out about class registration. Anyone currently registering for the nursing classes would be dropped, unless they were from a previous cohort (so we don't have to worry about someone not in nursing somehow taking a seat that was reserved for one of us). She was very helpful - actually, everyone I've encountered has been. That's very encouraging!
I've heard orientation costs a good bit of money and there are pretty strict rules we will have to follow but I don't know anything about what to anticipate from that.
I do wish the orientation date would be released soon because I would love to take my kiddo to see her grandparents before school begins. Trying to remember that patience is a virtue. ?
Good luck to everyone with the on-boarding requirements! Waiting on systems and labs is not easy! ?
I just got the drug test results back and it took 3 days. Did it Monday got it back today.
Also confirmed with the Dept of Health that I needed to either do the titer or take the series over again. If I did the titer and it determined I needed the vaccine again it would be a waste of time so it’s best to just do it again. I got a new requirement for the second in the series and asked Gloria to confirm that this won’t delay admission until I get those vaccines in. I’ll let y’all know what she says.
is there anyone moving back into the city for school? I’m apartment shopping as we speak. Anyone have any recommendations?

Hey there ?? yes just load a pic of that doc for each of the requirements and they will evaluate it if it fits the requirement.
So, I'm showing my ignorance here, but what's this about morning vs afternoon sessions? I was under the impression it classes ran from 8:30-2:30. Is this info you had to call to get, or was it in something I was supposed to read but missed? ?
I've got 2 elementary aged kids and a husband who works evenings, so the only reason this going back to school thing was going to work was because I'd be in school at the same time they were.

Morning is 8:30-2:30 and evening 3:30-9p. It’s in that long letter Dr Tellis gave us when we got accepted.
I’m right there with you! I need that morning option. I know some folks work the day shift and desperately need the evening so I’m just hoping it all works out for all of us.
Does anyone know if we will go over our workday during orientation or if we will meet with advisers that day? I graduated with my A.A. Fall 2020 and I'm not sure if I need to change my primary objective or any other information in my workday account to ensure that I receive financial aid.

I got it via email. Just called and they said the copy is blurry but it’s literally what they sent me. This CB process had me stressed ?
