let's talk about nclex

I realize that many people are getting tired about all of the talk about the nclex; however, i feel that if someone has a concern about the nclex or just wants to talk about the nclex--Then they should be able to do that. For many new grads including myself, the Nclex is a HUGE thing. Think about it: there is a lot of pressure to pass riding on one test. I can not speak for everyone but I don't know a lot of people that I can share my concerns about the Nclex. I feel that I can share my concerns with people who are in the same situation as me.

All I am saying is that : let people talk about is on their minds. If it happens to be about the nclex, then so be it. If the talk about Nclex is tiring to you, then do not read that thread. Thanks for letting me speak:)

i too am a new grad...and i am very nervous about nclex. everyone says that i did so well in school i will do fine on the nclex...but is that true??? will i do fine?? i only hope so :idea:

Healing I feel the same way!! I am scheduled to take NCLEX 5-31-07!! I made all A's and B's in school grad with honors and passed Hesi the first try both times we took it, but NONE of that makes me even alittle confident about NCLEX!! I feel sooo nervous I have been doing Suzanne's plan since graduating but I still am nervous because I dont know what to expect I guess. Good luck to you, when do you test?

I'm taking mine too on 5/31. How strange, in a comforting way. I can't imagine anyone not being nervous about it. But I'm trying to keep it together. I didn't just graduate and am now about to test. I took a prep course, and have been using their online practices and assessments for three weeks. I just want to know as much as possible for those questions where all you can do is guess. I hear that those are legendary. But I also see that oodles of people would bet money they failed it, but actually passed. I'm praying for all of us and I'm sure we'll be ok if we've worked hard.

I just graduated school last Thursday, May 24, and have to wait to have my transcripts sent to the BON before I receive my ATT. Like all of you, I am so nervous about the test. I will probably not take mine before the end of June, so for those of you taking yours at the end of this week, good luck!!!!!! On all of those practice exams we took in school from Medspub and ATI, etc., I always scored in the 50's and 60's, so don't know what to think. I need to really look at Maternal/Newborn material as it is my serious weakness. I guess being a guy, it is hard to understand all of the maternal/newborn material. Those of you who took the test, did you have alot of questions on that topic?

Please heed my warning when I tell you to go to the ncsbn website and get a copy of the test plan if you don't have one already. It changed in April and it focuses on PATIENT TEACHING. I took mine last week and am waiting on results, but PLEASE just remember PATIENT TEACHING.

hello! i jz passed nle last dec & planning 2 take nclex, im not sure if i wil pursue it or not, s it really diffcult? im afraid that i wudnt be able to make it, i also want to ask for an advice on where is the best/good review center 4 nclex? & how to process d application?

IM BRAND NEW TO THIS WEBSITE...I CAME ACROSS BY MISTAKE BUT IM SOOOOOOO GLAD..

I JUST GRADUATED FROM RN SCHOOL AND I HAVE THE NCLEX HEEBY JEEBIES.....I DONT KNOW WHICH SITE TO STUDY FROM ANYMORE.

..SOME CLASSMATES ARE SAYING STUDY THE KAPLAN REVIEW........SITE I DID THE KAPLAN CLASS...ALREADY..AND THEY HAVE A REVIEW OFFER....AND NOW I SEE THE NSCBN HAS AN NCLEX REVIEW SITE....ALSO....I FIGURED IF ITS COMING FROM THE NURSING BOARD ITSELF IT MIGHT BE THE BEST ONE TO REVIEW FROM...AND THEN I THOUGHT KAPLAN IS ALSO..EXCELLENT AND THEIR PASSING RATE IS EXCELLENT....SO NOW THAT IM STUCK BETWEEN HEEBY JEEBIES...CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT?:chair::mortarboard::banghead:

I am taking the Nclex-RN in 2 weeks. I've done the kaplan, reviewed. how do you know if you're ready to tkae the exam? should i based it on my scores? gut feeling?:idea:
