I am going to take the TABE test in two days and freaking out! I have no clue as to what to expect, was told since I receive K-Tap I only have to read but she couldn't tell me anything else. Not sure what is all on the reading portion or what level of the TABE it is. Can anyone tell me what to expect and the best way to prepare...

Hello!

I haven't started taking my CNA classes yet, I start mine in January!

I recently took my GED, so I had to take the TABE.

The TABE is basically just a test of basic knowledge, you are allowed to use a calculator for part of the math.

Its very easy! Just breathe!!!

So I took the TABE today and I am extremely frustrated... the instructor that should've been able to tell me my score right after was not there- so I sit and wait, find out my results within the next two days over email- uuuggghhhh!

I passed 12.9+ very excited...

Congratulations

Good job, how difficult is the math, and did you study?

Specializes in OB.

The math was horrible for me. Meet with a tutor for 5 months 3-4 days a week and still made 10 grade level (needed 11). Being a timed test really makes it worse too. Now I recently took algebra 1 and 2 and passed both so I don't need TABE at all.

The Math is basic but if your anything like me STUDY all you can, I surprised myself with how well I did!
