neuro nurse, you will do fine... just continue to practice those tedious NCLEX style questions and review your weak areas! GOOD LUCK

Good luck! I too am taking it on 2/1/05. I'm not sure if I'm studying the right way! I sometimes feel like I know the obscure but not the easier stuff!

I just wanted to wish you the best of luck. Go in there knowing that you made it through school and you can do it. DON'T get discouraged if the test goes well beyond 75 questions. I let it upset it but you shouldn't...there are lots of us on this board that got easily over 100 questions and still passed. Work through every question and don't even think about what # it is. Don't give up! You can do it!!!!!

The best and only advice I have to offer is NOT to second guess yourself! Go with your gut always. If you looked at the answers and one stood out immediately, click it and then review the other answers. If you aren't sure, stick with your first instinct ALWAYS! That, and breathe! I had to stop and tell myself that this is a ENTRY LEVEL nursing exam, so if you see stuff you've never heard of in your life, it's probably not entry level therefore probably not the right answer. I also had a mantra in my head which was, "Safe, effective nursing practice". Safety first always is what my instructors said, Safety and then ABC's.

You are going to do great, just don't forget to breathe :)

Thanks for the great advice!!! I just have to be confident in myself. I think tomorrow I am going to take it easy and try to relax(ha ha). I know a lot of people that I went to school with that studied all day the day before they took the test. I will keep everyone posted!!!! :)

It's a smart thing to do. The night before the exam, we actually had tickets to go see David Copperfield, so we went and saw his show and then went to dinner. No NCLEX, no books, no studying, just talking and relaxing. I think it helps. :)
