Those hurst scores are on the low side....but I have seen people pass in the 70s...I think you should do practice questions every day in addition to studying the core content from hurst review. Do like 75 to 265 questions from a good question bank like NCLEX 4000 and remediate on the questions content you don't know with a comprehensive NCLEX review book like Saunders comprehensive review for the NCLEX-RN. Do that for like 3 to 4 weeks. Just straight questions and hurst content worksheets to study from and you will be good to go.
I didn't take the Hurst Review, but I can respond to the part about being a Mom. We are in a similar situation- I was out of school since 2013, have 4 children and just passed the boards (on my 3rd attempt) last month!! It is never easy to multitask with a family, but you've gotten through school and are heading in the right direction for the exam. Don't freak out...instead try to relax as you prepare.
GOOD LUCK- you WILL do this.

So I will just jump in and say I am a mother of 3 children. I finished nursing school (BSN program) in Dec. I was pregnant and due early feb so I opted to wait to take the NCLEX. I have never taken it before. This will be my first time. My school did do the Evolve exit exam and I scored a 991. I took the Hurst Review in December but did not activate my account until June in order to rewatch all the videos. I have taken 4 of the qreviews and done 72/125 70/125 82/125 and 65/125. i will say my last score I was constantly being bothered and it was clear I couldn't focus on the questions at hand. Are these even relatively close to me being able to pass NCLEX? Its been 7 months since I left nursing school so I am freaking out. I am taking another qreview today and my last one tomorrow. Any tips? Anyone have success passing in a similar situation?
