my nclex is scheduled on 19 oct. i'll be taking it here in eagan, minnesota. wish me luck guys! any tips from the recent examinees? hehehe...

thanks guys! i was also surprised the quick results was out sun morning considering that i took the test last fri only. but nonetheless, that is only the first step. looking for a job and changing my visa status are my next problems(?).

Please read up in the International forum. PN does not come under immigration to change status you need to be RN and also retrogression is in progress and no way at the moment to adjust your status and can't see it happening for years due to the high amount of applications in July/Aug

yes i'm aware that foreign educated PN's are only allowed to have an H2B visa (working). what i meant by change of status if from tourist to working since i'm already in the US.

I take mine on the 29th. I am soooo scared. Trying to study is the worst because I have been trying to brush up on everything!!

Still can't change status to working unless you meet requirements for visa and visas are available doesn't matter if already in the US

Also my understanding of H2b visa is it is available for people to work in the US temporarily in an occupation in short demand and LPN doesn't meet that.

If you have the other requirements, it would be better like the IELTS, Job Order, etc.......
