  1. pinoy LPN present!
  2. alright! i hope you can make it too!
  3. i encountered many "choose all that apply" med questions. i also felt bad after the test because it was so long and hard. and after reading some encouraging posts here, it livened my spirits. also don't forget to pray.
  4. where do you plan to study? i'm also considering the idea of pursuing a BSN degree next school year. wanna be nurse din ako but 35++. hehehe...
  5. there's also a hotel very near the testing center. just behind the makati central post office. forgot the name tho'. walking distance pa to trident bldg.
  6. forexinegirl - just a piece of advise...don't take the airport coupon taxi. they charge a zonal fare regardless if your destination is near. btw, what airline are you taking? if you're taking PAL you might have a hard time getting a metered taxi.
  7. think positive man. mine also stopped at 205 and i passed. good luck to you!
  8. yah may bad...didn't do some research before i entered the program. anyway i still have plan C...pursue a nursing degree. i'll scout for a good nursing school once i return to the phils. for the meantime, i'm in vacation mode.
  9. same question here micdelrosario...i have no else to blame except myself for not doing my homework with regards to PN courses offered in the phils. i attended classes for 1yr, 3mos review class, went to the US to study some more, took the nclex-pn and passed it only to find out that non-US citizens are not allowed to work as PNs here!!! :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire i should've joined my buddy who took up BSN 2yrs ago! .
  10. just pursue the nclex-rn honey. like what lawrence said, we won't be able to land a job here.
  11. thanks for the info silverdragon and lawrence! i'll just proceed with plan B. which is pack my things and go home!
  12. joncy5254 - the bro of my friend is also in the same situation as yours. he took the nclex mid sept. still waiting till now.
  13. smiley091 - good luck to you! i hope you can make it as well!
  14. since PN is a vocational course, it is TESDA who regulates them. and TESDA is a gov't regulating agency. you can verify with them if the school offering PN is accredited. i had balikbayan schoolmates too and the reasonwhy they took it in the phils bec it's cheaper.
  15. you're wrong. i took up PN in the philippines, took recently and passed the nclex-pn. if it was not recognized in the US, the board of nursing will NOT make you eligible then. just my 3 cents...
