hello!
I have an immigrant petition, still waiting for the schedule of my interview by the u.s. embassy. I'm a registered nurse here in the philippines. I am in a dilemma whether to file for my nclex-rn application while I am still here,or to process it when I got there.will this speed up the process of my application since I am already there?
thank you in advance :)
my immigrant petition is in nevada.so I am planning to apply there as well. :)
You better check w/ their Boards (http://www.ncsbn.org) if they require one and if they waive it if you explained that your program was taught using English Books. The Boards usually do waive it if thee was a formal explanation given but each State have their own policies so best if you contact the Boards directly re: the English Prof. exam being waived.
Last time I checked, Nevada still requires CGFNS CES but an English Prof. exam is only required if the State BON to where the report will be sent will require it. It really depends on the individual State.
Best of luck.
