I am endorsing my license to Illinois and it is taking forever and I need to start working as a nurse already. I'm thinking of just taking my NCLEX again so I can get a license in like 2 weeks. I've been waiting for my endorsement to finish for 6 weeks now and so far, nothing.
I'm just wondering if anyone has done this before and if so, what are your experiences. Also, if you have any advice, whether you did this or not, I would gladly take them.

Though I am not specifically familiar with Illinois' process, I doubt a licensed nurse can apply as an unlicensed candidate. And the process of obtaining an ATT and scheduling the exam would likely be just as long.
Yes, I thought of that too And I am a foreign graduate so getting the necessary papers from my school might be difficult as well. I am hoping that the things I have turned in for endorsement will suffice. Oh well. Thank you for your feedback.

Hi I was a bit confused, did you already submit the international school's paperwork (transcripts etc) along with your endorsement application? Or do you still need to get them? Maybe that could be delaying the process?
