Tacoma Community College Nursing applicants 2018/2019

I was just curious if anyone knows how long after the deadline for disputing your weighted score for TCC's nursing program, the lottery is actually held? And do they post the results or just email you? I did email them, but was wondering if anyone has first hand knowledge. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!!!

Yeah, so I just checked with her and she said since I was an even number pull in the lottery, that I will not be accepted for winter quarter and the alternate lists are separate.

I also asked if I should plan on going to orientation and she said based on my number that I should probably wait and see and if I get higher on the list they will let me know.

I was called yesterday by the nursing dept and was asked to make my decision about going to Green River for the LPN program and then TCC in 2020 for 1 year RN. I told that I was #9 on the alternate list and d ou didn't want to forfeit my place and that I didn't want to extend out my education an additional year. She said I am to far down the list to get into the program and will have to reapply. I told her that for now I accepted the Respiratory Therapy offer at TCC. Not a total loss. But it doesn't make sense to have a waitlist and I know last year an alternate #10 got in.
