Tacoma Community College Fall/Winter 2021

Hey y’all,

Getting ready to apply to TCC for the fall/Winter 2021 application cycle. I only have Biol 160 left as far as pre reqs go. Also getting ready to take my CNA skills, the written test, and the TEAS. Currently working as a medication aide and will hopefully continue throughout nursing school.  Kinda hate the whole “lottery” idea, but I’m also applying to Centralia, so we’ll see how it goes.
 Thought I’d start a thread and see who else is getting ready. Good luck yall! ?

I looked there and it says major-pre-nursing DTA/MRP, but that might be because that’s what applied to the school with? Nothing in the emails today and I was looking at the lottery page and it says that we’ll be emailed about being in the lottery and then the lottery will Drawn. Then we’ll be able to see if we got In the program. we’re so close yet so far!! ☹️

I dropped in for the nursing program zoom office hours today. They are still waiting for transfer student transcripts to be evaluated.  Her hands are tied until that process is complete, and there’s no telling when ? As soon as that is finished, she can score the remaining applications and then shoot us an email with the scores prior to the lottery. 

I asked her how many people applied! 84

24 places for Fall Quarter and 24 places for Winter Quarter

Aww shoot!! Congrats!!? I got in at SPSCC, but still waiting on TCC to make my final decision.
