Hey y’all,
Getting ready to apply to TCC for the fall/Winter 2021 application cycle. I only have Biol 160 left as far as pre reqs go. Also getting ready to take my CNA skills, the written test, and the TEAS. Currently working as a medication aide and will hopefully continue throughout nursing school. Kinda hate the whole “lottery” idea, but I’m also applying to Centralia, so we’ll see how it goes. Thought I’d start a thread and see who else is getting ready. Good luck yall! ?

I'm almost ready to apply too, I just have to take my TEAS! Then I should be ready to upload everything and submit when it opens.
Good Luck Izzy!!
Ps. does anyone know what the weekly schedule will/would look like for the 1st semester?
Girl Thank you for commenting! I thought this site was dead or something. LOL I have some TEAS resources if you'd like them. I just submitted my application for my CNA License so hopefully that doesn't take too long. Either way I can still upload the pearson vue paperwork. I would love to know what the schedule will be as well. I'm trying to keep working during nursing school so hopefully we have a few free days during the week.
Good Luck to you too Shelby!

Yea hopefully more will come to this site when the application cycle opens. Thanks for offering your books but I think I'm going to take it tomorrow online.
I work with a couple of ppl that have gone through the nursing program and one won't really give me a straight answer, just really dramatically says that you won't have a life for 2 years and it's 5 days a week. there are two others that give better answers like it's a couple of days a week and if you can handle it, you can work on off days. I personally need to work in some capacity through school so I hope it's the couple days a week answer haha.
I'm leaning more towards entering Winter 2021 because I'm actually finishing some classes now and it would allow me a little break before diving back in. But apart of me wants to just start in the Fall.
Good luck with the CNA requirements and app Izzy! T-5 days till it's open!! :D

Do either of you know when they get back to people about acceptance?
Should be sometime this month. I've looked over other posts and sometimes they take a while. SPSCC already sent there's out and Centralia's letters go out this week just FYI.

Hey all,
I just came across this thread and was excited to see some others that have applied to Centralia's nursing program. I know the thread was originally about TCC but Centralia is the only program that I applied to, so I am impatiently waiting on letters to be sent out!
Good luck to everyone!!
I think it’s end of July and for sure end of the second week in august? The thread from TCC fall 2019/2020 gave me that impression it’s as late as mid august, but the suspense will definitely be killing me.
Thank you for your responses! I wonder how many people applie ?
I tried for Bellevue College, but I was #2 on the waitlist and not a single person was accepted off it. 95 applicants for 31 places

Yea, I tried for shorelines Part time and didn’t make it cause I was 5 points from the cut off. I think last fall/Winter app cycle ppl were saying that everyone got in because not enough ppl applied so really they just had to wait for if they were in fall or if they were in Winter. I think they had 28 apps total, but I could totally be wrong

Hey guys! I’m so happy that I found this thread. I have been making myself crazy. Checking my email constantly (even though I know it’s early in the process).
I reached out to Theresa this week to feel it out and she said she is still waiting for outside transcripts to be evaluated. She’s hoping that will be complete in a few weeks, but can’t say for sure. From there, she can determine our weighted scores.
I wish I would have asked how many students applied. The uncertainty is the worst. You can’t even attempt to gauge probability.
Thanks for sharing what Theresa did tell you, I'm going to put in my transfer eval request Because I think we're supposed to do it before classes start. I saw it on one of the old threads and from what I understand it's different than just having your transcripts sent in. I keep forgetting to do it too haha. Hopefully, we hear the results in the next coming weeks!!
