Tacoma Community College Fall/Winter 2021

Hey y’all,

Getting ready to apply to TCC for the fall/Winter 2021 application cycle. I only have Biol 160 left as far as pre reqs go. Also getting ready to take my CNA skills, the written test, and the TEAS. Currently working as a medication aide and will hopefully continue throughout nursing school.  Kinda hate the whole “lottery” idea, but I’m also applying to Centralia, so we’ll see how it goes.
 Thought I’d start a thread and see who else is getting ready. Good luck yall! ?

They won’t evaluate your transcripts without that form, so I super recommend getting that done ASAP!

Yea I did it after I posted this, and it says on the form that they won’t eval it till you’re enrolled in a class. Is that true, do you know?

I would send Theresa an email to clarify. She is super helpful and nice. The automated email that we received when we submitted our applications came from her. She determines the weighted scores and oversees the lottery.

I keep getting emails from enrollment services saying there is a message in my student homepage. When I go to check, however, it says the message center is under construction. Has anyone else been able to check theirs and has anyone heard word back about acceptances yet?

No emails from enrollment services, but I keep

getting emails about studying for the TEAS ??‍♀️. And nothing else, sadly.

Me too! But atleast it’s almost august and the wait should be intense, but not much longer ?

The message center is no longer on the TCC portal, but it can be accessed on ctcLink. Have you tried that yet? 

And no word about acceptance. The uncertainty has been really uncomfortable. I'm honestly an anxious wreck. It's really hard to resist contacting Theresa for an update or to ask how many people applied.

In the cTc Student Center. Under Academic Records, does it show the Nursing program when you select "My Program"?
