I have a friend who applied, but he hasn’t heard either way (which is weird because students should be given the opportunity to challenge the determination in case their was an error before the lottery). Anyone else in the same boat?

Guys! Check your TCC email. I got the email indicating that I qualified for the lottery and a link to the weighted score of applicants. MOVEMENT!

Agreed. I've contacted her twice since the application closed, so I promised myself that I wouldn't do it again. The uncertainty is so uncomfortable.

24 places for Fall Quarter and 24 places for Winter Quarter

I dropped in for the nursing program zoom office hours today. They are still waiting for transfer student transcripts to be evaluated. Her hands are tied until that process is complete, and there’s no telling when ? As soon as that is finished, she can score the remaining applications and then shoot us an email with the scores prior to the lottery. I asked her how many people applied! 84

The message center is no longer on the TCC portal, but it can be accessed on ctcLink. Have you tried that yet? And no word about acceptance. The uncertainty has been really uncomfortable. I'm honestly an anxious wreck. It's really hard to resist contacting Theresa for an update or to ask how many people applied.

I would send Theresa an email to clarify. She is super helpful and nice. The automated email that we received when we submitted our applications came from her. She determines the weighted scores and oversees the lottery.

Hey Shelby ? They won’t evaluate your transcripts without that form, so I super recommend getting that done ASAP!

Hey guys! I’m so happy that I found this thread. I have been making myself crazy. Checking my email constantly (even though I know it’s early in the process). I reached out to Theresa this week to feel it out and she said she is still waiting for outside transcripts to be evaluated. She’s hoping that will be complete in a few weeks, but can’t say for sure. From there, she can determine our weighted scores. I wish I would have asked how many students applied. The uncertainty is the worst. You can’t even attempt to gauge probability.
