SWIC Nursing Program Summer 17

Hello everyone. Who all applied for the summer 17 program? Do anyone have any information about the DET exam? How is the nursing program at SWIC?

If the day to schedule classes passes it won't matter because only people who are in the program can schedule for nursing classes. That could be a way to find out if you are in though. See if it lets you schedule a nursing class

I tried it. Says I don't have a valid enrollment appt her. I bet they don't open the classes until after orientation.

It won't let you register now anyways because registration doesn't start until the 10th.

I wonder if we call and ask about our final point total, if they'll say they have them. When I called a few days ago, they weren't finalized yet

I called and got my finalized score the day after I took the DET which was back in January. They should already have that. They probably thought you meant the cutoff score??

No, when I asked I got a response on 3/20 that my score hadn't been finalized but they told me the "unofficial" score. This was well after I had completed my DET also.

At least it matched what I had! This wait is killing me!

the exact wording was they "hadn't completed the final review" of the application but then told me the points they had calculated...

Ok that makes sense. Nothing is probably "official" until those letters go out. Anyone checking their email every 30 minutes like a mad person??

Last year I got my denial at 3:18 on 4/8/16 which would be equivalent to today. They literally waited until the end of the day on a Friday.
