We were given a congrats packet that contained just info like vaccinations, medical info, classes, books, uniforms, etc. There are several papers in that packet that we have to fill out and some for the dr to fill out. It's all due back to the nursing dept by August 1. Also went over the cpr info. People could ask questions as we went. That was pretty much all, only took an hour. There will be another mandatory orientation in July sometime that's more in depth.

I was able to go online and register for the summer course. So if our pre reqs are done, is there only the one course? I thought about retaking medical terminology as a refresher. I'm taking Tues/Thurs @ I believe it's 8:00.

JRiggs- congrats on getting accepted! I'm really not sure. I would call the nursing dept when they open back up and let them know. It's possible they could schedule a 1 on 1 appt.

I also plan on going to the Friday night orientation. Can't wait to meet everyone.

I, too, want to say good luck to those who didn't make it. DON'T GIVE UP!! I didn't get in last year, had 15 pts and 16 got in. I was crushed! I decided that I need more pts and I was going to do it. I retook 3 classes and worked my butt off knowing I needed A's. I improved 3 pts this year. I feel very lucky and fortunate to have this opportunity, and you will have it too. Does anyone know how many pts it took this year?

Yeah, someone in the nursing Dept had told me there were 316 applications this year and normally there's 300. I'm stressing with my 18 pts. Definitely hoping for Thursday. Would make for a good holiday weekend.

I wonder if that's why...I had forgotten about that. I wonder how her being gone affects the program.

The later it gets in the day, the more disappointed I get.

My stomach is in knots right now. Every passing minute I get more and more nervous.

Last year I got my denial at 3:18 on 4/8/16 which would be equivalent to today. They literally waited until the end of the day on a Friday.
