Swedish Medical Center Residency December 2018

Hi all!

I recently applied for the RN residency program at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. I also did the Hirevue interview sent to me a few days ago.

Just wanted to start a thread on applicants for the residency program or those who have experience with this hospital.

Anyone know the timeline from online interviews to receiving second interviews with the managers?

Any input would be great! :roflmao:

Is anyone else an out of state applicant? I'm from California and I started the process of getting my license endorsed in Washington in August and I'm hoping this won't be a reason why I don't move forward....Never got a rejection notice so I don't know where I stand

I received the email too. It seems like there must be a lot of confusion on their end but I'm happy about the good news!!

Also, I started endorsing my license in July (from CA) and it just became active last week. It was quite the process waiting for CA to send my verification.

If anyone gets news on interviews can you let us know here? It will just help me know if I should still keep Swedish in my mind as a realistic option. So far I'm not getting a response from the recruiter but I also haven't received a rejection email/notification on my portal.

Nothing for me. I emailed her back saying even tho I am out of state, I have an active WA license and she didn't respond

I received the email too. I replied I accepted a residency elsewhere. The recruiter congratulated me and wished me luck.

FYI it sounds like other hospitals in the Seattle area are hiring for residency.

Still no news at all....no rejections, no reply to my questions... @RNOC17 have you heard back yet?

Nothing for me from Swedish but I fortunately just accepted a residency elsewhere
