SW Boces Entrance Exam

Hi everyone!! I applied to Southern Westchester Boces and I am scheduled to take my entrance exam next Thursday. I am looking for anyone who has attended or has recently been accepted to the school. Or even anyone who knows anything about the test and scores needed in order to get accepted. I'm getting very nervous about the exam and any advice would be appreciated. I am curious to know how students are accepted - what scores are they looking for? Thank you!

i just got my results 95 79 41 percentile and 82 overall will i get in the program :confused:

your scores are impressive...with numbers like those you will definetly get in the program...congratulations!

How exciting! So glad they let you switch. So far, there are 3 of us on here that will be doing the day program together... you make the fourth :) ! Do you happen to know how they split us up into classes?!

I also know someone else from my job that got into the day program.

I don't have a clue...I guess when we go to orientation we will find out.

Will you be working when you start the program?

I wish orientation was like, tomorrow. lol.

I'll be changing from full-time to part-time once we start. I'll probably just work weekends. How about you?

I won't be working, I got laid off from work for a while now.

thank you i was worried cuase i was told you have to have above 50th percentile in everything. ihope they do call me

I felt the same way when i received my scores-45,66,70 overall percentile 76...quit worrying, they will definitely call you.

When are you going for your interview...make sure you dress professionally...remember first impression counts. The interview is very simple, some-one already posted the questions on this forum, review them and answer with confidence...best of luck to you.

NT - I totally agree with you, I wish orientation started sooner!!! The waiting is killing me! I want to meet everyone already!
