i'm taking a sociology class and have a group paper to write. our topic is to analyze pay differences between male and female rns. i know income is a personal topic but if your willing to help me out i would appriciate your response. thank you!!

i need: rn's with associate or bachelors degrees, must work in a hospital.

here are the questions:

1. how long (years) have you been a nurse?

2. what is your annual gross income?

less than 30k, 30-40k, 40-50k, 50-60k, 60-70k, greater than 70k

3. do you have an associate or bachelors degree?

4. how long have you worked for your present employer (seniority)?

5. on average how many hours do you work weekly?

6. do you work during the week, over the weekend, both?

7. what is your gender?

You are correct, there are so many factors that can throw off the data. Thankfully our professor just wants this to be a general paper that shows we know how to use the methods of research. In order to keep it basic we had to eliminate numerous questions. We will be building on it in the future though. I'm still very curious to find out what the information will show.
