Just wanted to know: Who got 75 questions pass or fail, how much time did it take you to complete the exam, any math? Thanks~
I passed with 75 questions. No calculations, 4 SATA, 15 medication questions, lots of priority questions. There were a couple of disease-process questions for things I never heard of before. The exam took me 2 hours, 5 minutes because I read each question twice and considered every single answer individually before I chose an answer, even if I thought I knew it immediately.
If it stops at 75, the program has decided, using the minimum amount of questions necessary, that you've either passed or you've failed. What this means is that if it stops at 75, you've set yourself high enough above or below the bar and therefore either passed or failed spectacularly. The good news is that you have the fact 80-85% pass the first time on your side, and you'd have to fail pretty badly to fail at 75. If you were close, it'd keep going to assess you further (up to 265).
I had 75 Questions, 3 Math, 4 SATA and LOTS of Infections control... I feel like I def. failed.. i reviewed the ?s I remembered (which were prob 20) in book and maybe got 8 correct.. Im sick to my stomach and I think its cruel they make us wait for our results. I cant imagine going thru this all over again, exp. since I will lose my job that I currently have waiting for me a an RN...

I took mine 1/29 in IL, no result yet. 75q 6 SATA, no math, 6 meds, 1 MH, 1 OB, several priority, no delegation...... I am very nervous. Heard that if you get a few SATA you have done well???? Is this true? My nerves are crazy!!!! All classmates that had 75 have passed so far, I hope I keep the trend going!
