Hi if you are a LVN, RN, Doctor, or EMT could you please take the time to answer these questions. I guess you could call this a survey or questionaiire to be filled out.

5. What do you do in an emergency situation when it comes to:
a. an adult who is unconscious?
if you are going to do CPR, what would you do? or
what do you do?
b. an infant/child who is unconscious?
c. an adult who is choking?
d. an infant who is choking?
e. an adult who is in shock?
f. an adult who is bleeding?
g. an adult who has a wound?
h. a child who has ingested household cleaning products?

a. an adult who is unconscious? determine abc's, begin resuscitation if needed
if you are going to do cpr, what would you do? or
what do you do? what???
b. an infant/child who is unconscious? same as adult
c. an adult who is choking? heimlich
d. an infant who is choking? heimlich
e. an adult who is in shock? start ivs and administer fluids, o2, cardiac monitor
f. an adult who is bleeding? pressure, ivs
g. an adult who has a wound? depends on the wound
h. a child who has ingested household cleaning products? determine airway patency and call poison control
i. an adult who a 2nd degree burn? cool the burn
6. what are your assessment when it comes to an emergency situation? assessment of what? the patient? abc's.
i don't mind filling out surveys at all here, but this one is rather confusing and you are asking for information that should not be given out on line.

what do you do? abc's address life threat
b. an infant/child who is unconscious? abc's events leading up to from care giver
c. an adult who is choking? himlich new version
d. an infant who is choking? same as above
e. an adult who is in shock? abc's address cause, handle life threats,o2, keep warm, shock position if hemmoragic or hypovolemic, transport fast, re-asses
f. an adult who is bleeding? abc's o2 stop bleeding (direct pressure, asherman sheild, tournequit)
g. an adult who has a wound? what type?
h. a child who has ingested household cleaning products? abc's history we use sample nmonic, medics, haul butt, call er, o2, be ready with suction, monotor vitals
i. an adult who a 2nd degree burn? abc's cool burn, wrap with dry dressings o2 (deponding on extent) keep warm, monitor vitals, transport
6. what are your assessment when it comes to an emergency situation? trauma? - rapid, medical - focused with complete history
