Not trying to be smarty , but have you tried googling? They seem to have EVERYTHING on Youtube.
Thanks, I did google. I wanted to see what others are doing policy wise
Been retired for a while so I couldn't help much. But I'm blown away by all the WEIRD things that pop up on Youtube.
Like 'crack an egg into a can of Pepsi' or 'crack an egg into a can of Coke'.
Then I think 'what idiot thinks up these videos?'
Then I think I'm an idiot for watching.
Just a thought - you could prob adapt a P&P for bladder irrg. SP irrgs are soooo much easier.

Your work setting should have a nursing textbook/website that they base developing policies and procedures from.

Foley and Suprapubic Catheter Irrigation Procedures -- this is basic irrigation I've performed over the years. 60cc is usual volume too.; may repeat X1 if heavy mucus plugs/debris/clots noted. Reconnecting SP cath to drainage bag sould have urine flowing freely.
