Hello everyone,
I realize when I had to write my nursing exam how much pressure I experienced about the whole thing. I wrote mine in June 2010 and passed in first attempt but still remember when I walked out the exam, I was not sure what would be the result.
The purpose of this thread is supporting those nursing students who are planning to write their CRNE in upcoming June. Students, please feel free to share your concerns and questions. Nurses please support those students with tips for study.
Just couple of reminders before we get started:
1. Please do not discuss specific questions or any content tested in CRNE.
2. Please read other threads for more information as well. Other threads give you valuable information and be smart and take them into your advantage.
3. Please stay on topic.
4. Please use proper grammar and spelling.
Thank you all.
hi, I am from Ontario and this province is always the last to get result, I heard...ugh~!!
I was reading february exam thread
and it seemed that they got the result faster then June CRNE
(Even Ontario got their result in almost 4-5 weeks)
I guess because of the number of people who took exam in Feb was much smaller
then the June exam(usually June is the biggest, I heard...)
I think the result would not reach Ontario next week...
In 2010 June, I think most people in Ontario got their result in mid to late July...
Meanwhile, let's pray but not worry about it since there are nothing we can do...
Enjoy great weather and be calm and positive...
I am sure y'all be fine~!!:)

Definitely hope for the best but prepare for the worse! I do hope everyone pass the exam. We just need to go over this bump!
please friends help me....I am a IEN..I wrote crne twice lost for 10 marks....finding it really hard to find whats wrong with me ..I am so depressed....planning to write my last chance in october...can anyone help me with some good suggestions?
Your best advice is to read EVERYTHING (and there's a LOT) that has been posted here about succeeding at the CRNE and then following the tips. There's nothing wrong with you - you have a bit of a disadvantage being an IEN, because Canadian nursing students are taught exactly what they need to pass the CRNE and many of the exam questions they see while they're in school are in the same format as the CRNE so they have a distinct advantage. It's likely not so much the clinical information that you have trouble with, but more likely that it's the Canadian health care system and the academic focus that hangs you up. Good luck.

It depends on which province you are currently working in. In New Brunswick, you can continue to work as a Graduate Nurse until you have failed 3 times. In Nova Scotia, if you fail once you can no longer work as a Graduate Nurse - certainly great for the self esteem. You then can only work as a CCA. I am not familiar with the rest of the provinces.
