Hi everyone,
I know this is really early for me to start looking for supplies, but I really want to get a jump start on supplies. Does anyone have any recommendations for supplies for the Scottsdale CC nursing school?
Any will be appreciated! Thank you!!

You will most definately need:
-Comfortable all white shoes
-Stethoscope (you don't need a fancy expensive one)
-Pen light
-Clip board (for clinicals)
-clinical uniforms (only sold at apparel pro usa in Tempe)
-Black sharpie fine point pens
There's a few suggestions for you. There are more things I'm sure I've missed, but that should give you a good head start.

As far as stethoscopes go, you don't need a super expensive one. But, you do need one of sufficient quality to allow you to easily hear the sounds you need to hear. A bit better quality stethoscope is very helpful for the inexperienced. I like this one from Littmann. It will work great for you in nursing school, and will continue to be a great every day stethoscope after you graduate.
Be aware that dark colored scrubs will discolor light colored stethoscope tubing. And, go ahead and pop for engraving with your name or nickname...stethoscopes grow legs everyday...if yours is orange and says "HoneyLips" on it, you might have a better chance that the unscrupulous will pass yours by when looking for their next "new" stethoscope. Remember, cute personalized steth tags can be removed.
