I haven't seen any thread for the SUNY Downstate ABSN program for the Fall 2024 start so I thought so here's one for anyone applying/attending/etc!

Hi! I applied about a week ago as well and currently my status is under program review. I saw from last year it took approximately 2-3 weeks I believe to hear back and maybe 1 week for an interview so just waiting now. What does your status say?

My status is "hold for visa verification" cuz I'm international student. Admin team said that my application is being reviewed but maybe it would take longer for me I guess?

Thanks for starting the thread. I finished submitting everything for the application today. Currently my status states, "Office of Student Admissions Evaluator Review"? Anyone else have the same thing?

Hi can someone clarify if everyone needs to take the ATI TEAS exam or is it for international students? Has anyone applied and received a response while waiting to take the exam?

It's for ALL applicants, not just for international students.

Hi! I took the exam a few weeks ago, and a week is definitely enough time to prepare if you still recall basic math and science concepts! If you recently taken your anatomy courses, it's definitely a plus as most science questions came from there. The entirety of the exam was multiple choice for me, but I heard others receiving fill in the blank questions as well.

I was wondering what the typical schedule is like at this school, and how has the clinical experience been for you?
