Mine is showing up as "Faculty Reviewer Assigned." Has anyone received acceptance yet? The waiting is killing me. ?

Yes! I know. Me too! Did a informational session and thought (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said they would start reviewing soon. I think that was in October ?

Anyone get updates or hear back from the admissions team yet?

Nothing from admissions yet for me. I saw they extended the deadline from end of February to early April ? I wonder if that means not a lot of people applied. Either way I hope that doesn't prolong decisions for us.

No updates on my end either! That's what I was thinking about the deadline extension too! I hope we get some good news soon. Feels like it's been forever.

They only sent me the option of 2/14 and 2/16 sometime between 12 and 3. The interviews are 30 minutes long. Good luck to you!??

Hello Everyone, I am interested in applying for this program and wanted to find out more information. Online I see the MS option there still, but when I called the school today they said it was only a DNP option. I am a bit confused as to what is being offered. Also is this only a full time program, or is part time options offered? Also do they offer clinical placements? When I inquired about this earlier in the day I just got a snarky reply saying that,"This is a medical school" :(. The next info session is Feb 27, but until then can someone please share some insight.

Hi!

Sorry it's been so hard finding info. Yes, I believe there will no longer be an MS option for women's health...only for education. There was an email sent to applicants stating that due to Downstate's committement to transition all entry-level nurse practitioner (NP) education to the DNP degree by 2025 that in Fall 2023, the CON will no longer offer the MS  pathway to the NP in Women's Health but will offer the post-baccalaureate entry to the DNP degree. To my knowledge, it is only full time basis. Upside is classes are online right now. There is clinical placement at hospitals in the area. Definitely attend the info session. All the head track directors will be there to answer your questions. ? Good luck to you!

@PinkMommaRN when did you officially submit your application with all your required documents, I had to wait for NYS to send me a new certificate because mine was damaged, hoping that's why I haven't gotten an email yet ?

I officially submitted my application and all supporting documents 8/25/22. I checked my application online today and it still isn't showing any green checkmarks on my Admission checklist so I'm not sure if that's a good indicator ??‍♀️. I hope you hear from them soon. I know the waiting is anxiety inducing ?
