Hey guys,

Started my application for Downstate's WHNP for Fall 2023 start. Thought I'd start this thread for all interested and/or applying. I'm in between excitement and anxiety! ? All questions welcome! Any past/current students with advice/opinions? Good luck everyone!

Sorry your interview was not welcoming. You can definitely work and have a life while doing this program. It is online and the first two semesters were once a week. After that additional days for clinicals. I think directors have to say that because everyone is different as far as how they study and deal with stress. It's not easy but definitely do-able. Hope this helps.

Hello @MommaRN1214, I just had my interview today, and I feel mine was unfavorable as well... Can you give me your feedback on the program? Were you able to work? Was it just overhyped or do you feel you can not work while in this program? Thank you!
