Hi everyone,

I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

I don't plan on working full time - just curious as to how many days are like 9 to 5 classes...

Has anyone not applied yet? I am taking the TEAS tomorrow.

When I spoke to an admissions counselor, she told me applicants could submit their app first, then submit the TEAS; try emailing the admissions office

How did everyone submit their TEAS scores? Did you guys send it directly to Suny Downstate from ATI TEAS or put the file on the application of your results?

I sent my scores directly from the TEAS website

My application is complete. I am waiting to hear back from them. Praying to God ?

Does our recommendations need to be in when we apply or can it still be submitted after? Because my professors still need to submit them so I am unsure if I should wait to submit it.

You can submit it but your application will be on hold until your recommendations are in. I submitted mine than my recommendations were submitted

Got it! Did you guys fill out all of the activities, experience, and employment sections? I feel that it is so repetive because of the resume already

Also is there anyone who will also be finishing up science pre req in the Spring?
